NEW CONTENT, CHANGES & UPDATES

FIFA World Cup LTE

The world's biggest football tournament has arrived in Rocket League. Represent your country in the Rocket League x FIFA World Cup 2026™ LTE , where every match counts toward a global leaderboard.

  • Pick your country and compete in online matches to earn points for your nation.
  • Track your country's standing on the leaderboard at RocketLeague.com throughout the event.
  • Earn exclusive rewards just for participating — and earn more the higher your country climbs.

One Dream. One Arena. One World Cup.

Choose Your Respawn Location

You just got demolished. It happens. But now, what happens next is up to you.

After being demolished in an online match, a quick UI toggle will appear before you respawn, letting you choose your spawn position relative to your own goal.

  • Select from available spawn locations on your side of the field.
  • The choice window is brief, so stay sharp.
  • If no input is made before the timer expires, you'll spawn at one of the locations randomly (just like the old behavior).
  • By default, choosing a spawn location is bound to the left analog stick on controller, but you can remap it to the buttons of your choice in the keybindings menu

The last bit of randomness in Rocket League gameplay is now in your hands. Choose wisely!

Streamer Mode

With Streamer Mode enabled, player usernames can be anonymized during online matches.

  • Your username, your opponents', and your teammates' names can be anonymized in match using combinations of the new options.
  • Anonymization applies across the scoreboard, social menu, and spectator voice channel notifications.
  • Saved replays are not affected — real names will still appear there so your VODs stay intact.
  • Players can always be reported normally; anonymization does not remove in-game reporting tools.

Happy Streaming!

Speed Stat Graphs, Hitbox Visualization & Goal Scorer's View

Three new in-game tools are arriving in Season 23, bringing some of the most-requested community features natively into Rocket League.

Speed Stat Graphs

  • Display a real-time overlay of the velocity of the car and ball during matches and training.
  • Toggle on and off via Settings.

Hitbox Visualization

  • See the active hitbox of your vehicle rendered as an in-game overlay.
  • Available in Offline Freeplay.

Goal Scorer's View in Replays

  • A new toggle appears during goal replays that switches the camera to the scorer's perspective.
  • Available in all game modes.

Custom Training Expansion

The last update brought randomization tools to Custom Training. This update goes further - now custom training creators can control how your car moves at the start of each shot.

  • Car Velocity
    • Define the vehicle's starting speed to simulate a wider range of scenarios – including support for starting shots in mid-air.
  • Car Pitch
    • When creating a shot in a training back, the pitch rotation of the vehicle can now be modified. Combine that with the velocity setting, and now creators can make a whole new set of aerial training!
  • Boost Amount
    • When playing a training, you can now set a specific starting boost amount using a new slider in the Setting menu.
