RLCS 2026 Kicks Off with Open 1
The Rocket League Championship Series' 2026 season is here! Open 1 is the first stop on a long road that leads to the RLCS World Championship in September.
RLCS 2026 Open 1 Dates
The Official Broadcast for North America and Europe will be streamed in English on:
Playoffs Round 1:
- North America, November 22 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 7 PM CET
- Europe, November 23 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 5 PM CET
The final day of NA and EU Playoffs will run on LAN at the Kick-Off Weekend December 5-7, so mark your calendars and expect more news on that broadcast soon!
RLCS Qualification Points
The top 16 teams per region earn RLCS Qualification Points based on their final placement. These points accumulate across Opens 1-3 to grant qualification to the Major 1 LAN. NA and EU send their four teams with the most points across the split, while MENA and SAM send two, and OCE, APAC, and SSA send their singular team with the most points.
Additionally, the eight teams with the most points from Open 1 will qualify directly to the Swiss Stage of Open 2. Similarly, the eight teams with the most points across Open 1 and Open 2 will qualify directly to the Swiss Stage of Open 3.
Points for Open 1 placement are awarded as follows:
- 1st: 15
- 2nd: 10
- 3rd-4th: 7
- 5th-6th: 5
- 7th-8th: 3
- 9th-12th: 2
- 13th-16th: 1

Kick-Off Weekend LAN
North America and Europe will play Open 1 online until the top six teams per region are decided. Then, they’ll pack their gear and travel to BLAST Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark, to complete the bracket and crown Champions on LAN! NA will play December 5, and EU will play December 6.
The action doesn’t stop there, and there’s more to play for than ever before! On Sunday, December 7, the top four teams per region will compete in a single elimination bracket. The Kick-Off LAN Champion earns a direct qualification spot to Major 1, along with an extra qualification slot for their region in Major 1, Major 2, and the World Championship!
