It's been a long journey through the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Winter Split, but things are just starting to heat up for the RLCS Winter Major at DreamHack San Diego in sunny San Diego, California. The top 16 Rocket League teams in the world are set to face off April 6-9 for coveted RLCS Points and the title of RLCS Winter Major Champions!

What's the RLCS Winter Major?

The RLCS Winter Major is the culminating, in-person LAN event of the RLCS Winter Split. Teams from across the globe have competed to book their spots to face off against the greatest competition that Rocket League has to offer. We're heading to the San Diego Convention Center for the RLCS Winter Major April 6-9, so don't forget your sunglasses!

  • The event takes place at DreamHack San Diego in the San Diego Convention Center  April 6-9.

  • April 6, the show will be closed to the public.

  • April 7-9, we'll welcome a crowd to the event.

Format, Broadcast, and Schedule

The RLCS Winter Major format will mirror the RLCS Winter Split Regional format. The format begins with a Group Stage that features four groups of four teams that play Round-Robin matches within their respective groups. The teams that place first within their respective groups will receive a bye to the Quarterfinals of the Playoff Bracket. Teams that place second and third in their respective groups will be seeded into Round 1 of the Playoff Bracket. Teams that place fourth in their respective groups will be eliminated from the RLCS Winter Major.

Teams will then play through a high-stakes, Single-Elimination Playoff Bracket to determine the RLCS Winter Major Champions!

The RLCS Winter Major will run for four total days April 6-9. On April 6, there will be main streams on the Rocket League Twitch channel  and the Rocket League Esports YouTube channel, and alternate streams on the Rocket League Esports Twitch channel and the Rocket League Esports YouTube channel. From April 7 to 9, the broadcast will take place on the Rocket League Twitch channel and the Rocket League Esports YouTube channel.

April 6 - Group Stage, Rounds 1 & 2 (All Groups)

  • Broadcast begins at 10:30 a.m. PT (5:30 p.m. UTC) on main streams and alternate streams.

April 7 - Group Stage, Round 3 (All Groups)

  • Broadcast begins at 10 a.m. PT (5:00 p.m. UTC).

April 8 - Playoff Bracket, Round 1 & Quarterfinals 1 & 2

  • Broadcast begins at 10 a.m. PT (5:00 p.m. UTC).

April 9 - Playoff Bracket, Quarterfinals 3 & 4, Semifinals & Grand Finals

  • Broadcast begins at 10 a.m. PT (5:00 p.m. UTC).

On-Site Information

For those who will be attending the RLCS Winter Major in person, we'll be welcoming fans from April 7 through April 9. Doors will open each day at 10 a.m. PT with the RLCS Pre-Show beginning at the same time.

There will be RLCS Winter Major merchandise available for purchase. All items will only be available on site and once they're sold out, they're gone for good!
