Collegiate Rocket League is back with the 2021 Spring Season! After an exciting 2020 Fall Season, we're hitting the gas this spring, bringing changes to the league, and offering new ways to get involved with CRL. With $75,000 in Scholastic Awards up for grabs, it's sure to be an exciting season.

How the 2021 CRL Spring Season Works
First up, let's cover what to expect during the 2021 CRL Spring Season and how the league will operate throughout the season.

The Western and Eastern Conferences will have 10 teams each (20 teams total)

The top two teams from each Conference from 2020 Fall League Play will auto-qualify for this season's League Play, and open qualifiers will determine the other eight teams in each Conference

Conferences will feature Double-Round-Robin League Play

The top four teams from each Conference qualify for the Conference Playoffs

The top two teams from each Conference Playoff will qualify for the CRL Spring Championship

The Spring Championship will be a one-day, four-team, single-elimination bracket

CRL will be fully online during the 2021 CRL Spring Season
As mentioned above teams will be playing for their cut of $75,000 Scholastic Award prizing and for bragging rights as the top collegiate Rocket League team in North America! In addition to the main CRL league, there's a new, open level of competition brought to you by PlayVS that's sporting $50,000 Scholastic Award prizing. So even if you don't make it to the big leagues in CRL, you can still assemble your squad and compete with money and school pride on the line!
Key Dates and Broadcast Information
The 2021 CRL Spring Season begins with two days of open qualifiers per Conference that will determine who joins the four auto-qualified teams from last season. Check out the dates below:
- Open Qualifier East #1: March 14, 9 a.m. PDT (12 p.m. ET)
- Open Qualifier West #1: March 14, 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m. ET)
- Open Qualifier East #2: March 21, 9 a.m. PDT (12 p.m. ET)
- Open Qualifier West #2: March 21, 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m. ET)
After the open qualifiers conclude, CRL's Double-Round-Robin League Play will kick off! League Play will last five weeks and lead into the CRL Playoffs. The Playoffs will happen over two days followed by a single day Spring Championship where a Champion will be crowned! You can catch every broadcast on Twitch. Find the schedule below:

Open February 25, 2021 to May 31, 2021 to legal residents of Canada and the USA who are 15 years or older. Minors must have parental consent to participate. Players must be enrolled full time in college, university or vocational-technical school in Canada or USA and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA or similar grading. 10 League prizes available: scholarship awards each with a value ranging between $2,000 to $5,500 USD, 4 Regional Conference playoff prizes available: scholarship awards each with a value ranging between $500 to $1,000 USD and 4 Spring Championship prizes available: scholarship awards each with a value ranging between $500 to $3,000 USD.
