The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) is just over one week away from returning to LAN play. The excitement is palpable as 16 of the best Rocket League teams in the world get ready to hit the pitch for the first RLCS LAN event since December 2019.
There's a ton of information to go over, so let's get started!
Ford Drives Back Onto the RLCS Pitch
We're excited to announce that Ford will once again be joining us as a presenting sponsor for the Fall Major Driven by Ford. After a fantastic RLCS sponsorship during the RLCS X season, we're thrilled to be teaming back up with Ford for the Fall Major! Be sure to look out for awesome Ford integrations in the broadcast and on-site at the Fall Major.
What Is the Fall Major?
The Fall Major is the biggest international tournament of the RLCS 2021-22 season Fall Split, where 16 of the top teams from around the world come together to face off for points, regional bragging rights, and the title of Fall Major Champions! The event will be held in Stockholm, Sweden at the ESL Sweden Studio. It's also the longest RLCS LAN tournament ever, clocking in at five days of competition!
The Fall Major marks the first RLCS LAN event since the Season 8 World Championship in December 2019. As such, stringent health measures will be in place throughout the event in order to help ensure the safest event for players, talent, and staff. We're looking forward to getting the best players in the world back together and competing safely.
