Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) is speeding back onto the pitch this Fall with $100,000 in scholastic awards! From qualifiers to broadcasts, we've got all the info you need to gear up for the new season!

CRL Qualifiers and Details

The first step to repping your university on the Rocket League pitch is to gather your squad and sign up for the Open Qualifiers. You can sign up NOW for the two qualifying events with your school. Teams only need to qualify once, but will have two chances to qualify for Regional Conference League play.

  • Qualifier #1: September 20 (sign-ups end on September 18)

  • Qualifier #2: September 27 (sign-ups end on September 25)

Both Eastern and Western Conferences will have 16 teams (32 total teams), with each competing in a round-robin format within their respective Conference. $100,000 in scholastic awards will be up for grabs, so assemble your school's best roster and compete for your cut of the prizing and a chance to secure an invite to the CRL National Championship taking place in January 2021!

New Additions and Schedule

Something brand new for this season is that we're expanding the ways students can qualify for the CRL National Championship. We're establishing a brand new CRL Wildcard event  that will include teams from CRL and other collegiate leagues including  PlayVS and the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE x Skillshot)

The top teams from these leagues will be invited to compete in the CRL Wildcard event this December, where they'll battle for a spot at the CRL National Championship. We’ll have more information soon about how the CRL Wildcard invites will work and more participating leagues as well in the coming weeks!

Official CRL broadcasts will run from early October to the middle of November, while the CRL Wildcard broadcast will happen in December. Please find the official broadcast schedule below:

  • Week 1: October 6, 7

  • Week 2: October 13, 14

  • Week 3: October 20, 21

  • Week 4: October 27, 28

  • Week 5: November 4, 5

  • Week 6: November 10, 11

  • Week 7 (Playoffs): November 17, 18

  • Wildcard: TBD December

Additionally, the College Carball Association (CCA) will once again broadcast as the official CRL B-Stream! Keep an eye on their Twitter for their broadcast schedule, which will be available soon!

That's it for now! Build your squad, rep your school, and earn scholastic awards in the biggest season of CRL yet. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and join the CRL/CCA discord to keep up with CRL in the coming months. We look forward to seeing you and your team compete in CRL this Fall. Good luck and have fun!
