Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) is making its return for the Fall 2024 semester! Read on to learn more about the format, schedule, and how you can compete yourself or watch your favorite school fight for the title of CRL Champion. Beyond the glory of being crowned the best collegiate Rocket League team, all players will also be competing for their share of $50,000 in Scholastic Prizing!

A CHANGE IN FORMAT

CRL’s format, which has largely remained the same since launching in 2017, is undergoing some changes. We are shifting CRL’s format to feature open competition throughout the semester, to ensure long-term sustainability and more opportunities for more players to win Scholastic Prizing over a semester! Here’s the key information:

  • Open to all College Teams in the USA, Canada, and Mexico
  • One Conference
  • Four Open Tournaments lead to a Fall Championship
  • Each Open Tournament is two days:
    • Day 1: Double Elimination Bracket with four pools. Two teams from each pool advance to Day 2.
    • Day 2: Double Elimination Bracket with the top eight teams from Day 1.
  • Top teams in each Open Tournament receive CRL points for their performance
  • The Fall Championship will feature the top eight  points  earning teams competing in a Single Elimination Bracket over two days to determine the CRL Fall Champion!

Teams of three college students who all attend the same accredited institution can compete in as many Open Tournaments as they want, so make sure to grab some friends to compete in CRL!
